Stainless Steel

Stainless steel is my gold standard, durable and rust-free. Thirty-two

Tinned

Tin cutters rust quickly if left wet and can easily be Bent Out of Shape. I am not a fan of tin, but many dealers sell a wide choice models.

Plastic

I avoid plastic cutters (and most of the plastic items the kitchen), where it is not because they are made from oil, so that they may be leaching chemicals (bisphenol A, phthalates, etc.).

* Trade Name Mother Cutter Good Bites 4-pack. I mention these plastic cutters, because I did not affect the product will be used on different materials. Create a triangle, semi-circles and hearts and decrusting cut your bread in one motion.

Other uses

Use cookie cutters and dough play money, so fun to Jell-O shapes, glitter creates a greeting card (# 2 page), or decorating cakes. Oh, and cookie cutters work well for cutting cookie shapes, too. Who woulda thunk it?

In our home, get sandwiches cut into five bands with plain ol 'knife and explain to my daughter that she eats your mother and your father's fingers. He is a nice little Cannibal ever seen.
