We're going to work on the inside of our greeting card now. In this lesson we're looking at ways to tie the inside and outside of the card together - give them consistency.

This is Lesson 8 in the 9-Day Create a Greeting Card Class. If you did not receive or lost a previous lesson, retrieve it here: Missing Lessons

Definitions
Consistency and Contrast
They may seem like opposites - one means how much things are alike and the other is how much they are different - but consistency and contrast can and should peacefully co-exist within a design. For more design help, see the bonus material.

Instruction
Repeating Yourself
The punchline, the sappy sentiment, or whatever is on the inside of your card should work with what's on the outside. But they aren't identical.

Assignment
Go Inside
Time to tackle the inside of your card using the principles of consistency and contrast.

DTP Classroom
As always, the classroom forum is here for you to discuss your greeting card project and the lessons learned. Why not post a screen shot of some of your work?
