Just a reminder that although the tasks outlined over the next few days are presented step-by-step, desktop publishing is not entirely linear. You'll probably be going back and forth among tasks in different areas throughout the process until you get things just right. And even if you aren't working on prepress or printing tasks, for example, you'll be thinking about the process even at the very beginning when brainstorming on your design. However, you may want to tuck the list I've presented (design, document setup, images, text, file preparation/prepress, and printing) into a corner of your brain right now. When you get to the last question on the last quiz in the final exam that list will come in handy. hint, hint
