What Happening - We have been so fortunate lately to find some incredible pieces of history. First, an amazing John Wayne signed letter in which he discusses his poor health and also mentions Frank Sinatra. Also, a remarkable Theodore Roosevelt autographed photo And, as many of you know we have a reputation for going the extra mile when it comes to autograph authentication. The autograph industry often relies of 3rd party authentication services which are reliable but not perfect. Hence, we always conduct our own homework and extensive research and even reject a PSA certified item if we feel it is not authentic. For example, in July 2010 a PSA certified "Rat Pack" set of signatures for a memorabilia auction house did not pass our own authentication standards and hence we did not bid on it , even though it sold for a fraction of its value (had it been genuine). Probably more than any other dealer or auction house in the industry we go to great lengths to acquire provenance, particularly when the origin is the original (1st generation) owner. Here is an in person signed Frank Sinatra photo which is another example of what sets us apart from others in the industry when it comes to making sure our customers are getting GENUINE pieces of history. Not reproductions, not reprints, NOT forgeries. Nothing but The Real Deal. GUARANTEED! Want another example? Check out the Wizard of OZ photo signed by both Jack Haley and Ray Bolger. With more and more forgeries appearing on the internet auction sites like eBay, the provenance such as this, is becoming the critical piece to securing the item's value.
