I often get asked which webinar system
is the best.
I used to immediately tell people that
GotoWebinar was the best web
conferencing system, but recently they
hiked their prices like crazy.
I still use GotoWebinar, but I'm on a
corporate plan that allows me to have up
to 1,000 people on a webinar for around
$650 a year.
Unless you work for a large company that
has a corporate plan, that pricing is
not available any more.
So I thought I would share with you some
of the other webinar systems on the
market and let you decide which one is
right for you.
Each of these system have their
strengths and weaknesses and I have not
tested each one.

Webinar Software Products
_____________________________
Here are 6 of the top webinar software
products on the market. A couple of
these solutions, I've used, but most I
have not.
1. GotoWebinar
$99/mo - 100 people
http://www.GotoWebinar.com
MY COMMENTS: This has been the most
popular webinar software, Unfortunately,
they hiked their prices like crazy
lately.
2. GVOConference
$99/mo - 500 people
http://www.MyGVOConferenceSystem.com
MY COMMENTS: This is a new entrant into
the web conferencing space. It's the
lowest cost solution. I personally have
an account with GVO. Good alternative to
GotoWebinar.
3. WebEx.com
$69/mo - 25 people
http://www.WebEx.com
MY COMMENTS: WebEx is the grandaddy of
the web conferencing world. This product
is geared toward the (deep pocket)
corporate community. It's expensive!
4. GatherPlace
$285/mo - 1,000 people
http://www.GatherPlace.net
MY COMMENTS: GatherPlace has received
some great ratings and is a good all
around option. It's pricing is in the
middle of the road of the vendors.
5. Adobe Connect
$55/mo - 100 people
http://www.adobe.com/products/adobeconnect.html
MY COMMENTS: Adobe Connect is a fully
featured solution. The higher capacity
version is a bit pricey, but is a stable
and robust offering.
6. Fuze Meeting
$69/mo - 100 people
http://www.FuzeMeeting.com
MY COMMENTS: This is a great webinar
system for meetings up to 100 people,
however, if you're going to have a big
crowd, Fuze isn't really designed for
that.
