TODAY'S ARTICLE...

    "What Is the Ultimate Business?"

Today, I went to lunch with one of my top employees
and we were talking about business (duh).

I often take one or more of my employees to lunch
because it doubles as a business meeting.

Well, today we were asking ourselves, "What would
the ulimate business look like?"

What characteristics would it have?

We started to write down a big list of attributes
and then we shaved that list down to 5 main things.

____________

I WISH...
____________

...I had this list 11 years ago when I started out
on my own. My business would look very different
today.

But alas, we all learn as we go.

So here are my 6 primary attributes of the
ultimate business (in no particular order).

NOTE: Don't take these lightly. This is 11 years
of hard earned experience that I'm sharing with
you!

_____________________________

1. Creates Residual Income
_____________________________

You want a business that has a product or service
that is subscription based so that every month
you're automatically generating income with no
additional marketing efforts.

_____________________________

2. Is Infinitely Scalable
_____________________________

The ultimate business has a strong appeal to
the general public so that your can scale it.

That means you should have a product that, if
you stopped someone in the street, they would
be interested in buying your product.

(this is the opposite of niche marketing)

3. Is Mechanical to Run
_____________________________

The ultimate business is very mechanical, meaning
that once you lay out the steps to run the business,
a high school kid could run it successfully. This
will decrease errors and will allow you to outsource
your business overseas to cheaper labor or hire
lower wage workers to run it.

_____________________________

4. Is Non-Persona Based
_____________________________

The ultimate business has it's own brand and isn't
attached to YOU. This will allow you to hire a CEO
to run the company while you go play (this is for
all you gurus and infomarketers that have a persona
based business and are "chained" to that business).

_______________________________

5. Can Grow Via Paid Traffic
_______________________________

The lifeblood of your business is new leads and
your ability to scale. The one controllable lead
generation source is paid advertising. If your
product or service can't be grown through paid
traffic, it will be next to impossible to scale.

6. Has a High Barrier to Entry
_________________________________

If your business is successful and can be knocked
off easily, it will be! You'll have imitators come
in and drive competition making it harder for you
to scale.

I'm sure there are more attributes, but have come
up over and over again in my discussions with my
staff and other marketing experts.

DOES YOUR BUSINESS HAVE THESE ATTRIBUTES?

Hope this gets you to thinking.

Have a great day!

David

P.S. Did you know that I make a lot of money every
month from a little home business that I started
over 5 1/2 years ago. It's true.

To be successful at this home business you only have
to do 3 simple steps. Hence, it's called the "3 Step
System."

If you're interested in partnering with me in this
business, I'd like to invite you to watch this brief
video message.
