TODAY'S ARTICLE: What 25 Entrepreneurs
Said About Success
_______________
A Quick Note:
_______________
Two days ago I let you guys know about a
very cool piece of software that
automatically creates stunning graphics.
A ton of people purchased it (yes, it's
that good.)
Here's the link to the short webinar we
did about the product.

Back to TODAY'S ARTICLE...
This morning I was reading an ebook that I
purchased last year that was assembled by
Martin Avis.
Martin asked about 25 internet
entrepreneurs to give ONE TIP for the
coming year that would help people become
more successful.
All of these 25 entrepreneurs are very
successful in their own sphere of
influence.
The book was about 60 pages long.
Many of the messages were very powerful,
however, as I read the book, I noticed
that there were TWO overriding themes.
Nearly, each entrepreneur mentioned these
two elements as a key to success.
So today, I'm going to spare you the time
of reading this book and I'll share with
you what those two elements are.

The Two Biggest Elements of Success
______________________________________
Disclaimer: I'm a little embarrassed to
write about these two elements because I
find myself struggling with them from time
to time.
But here they are...
1. FOCUS
Surprise! I'll bet you haven't heard this
before. Yes, each entrepreneur reiterated
just how important it is to focus, focus,
focus.
Focus on one business.
Focus on one business model.
Focus on one system.
Focus on one task at a time.
And clear your life of other distractions.
Such as...
1. Facebook
2. Twitter
3. Email
4. Phone calls
5. "Walk in's" (people walking in on you)
6. etc...
To be honest, I often have a hard time
focusing. I'm a curious person and I enjoy
roaming around the net and social media
sites.
The second element is...
2. SYSTEMS
Each entrepreneur mentioned how important
it is to carve out time to create systems
in your business.
Once you find something that works, create
a system out of it and outsource it.
Systems are what build value into your
business.
A business is only as valuable as it's
ability to continue being profitable when
the leadership is away.
On top of that, systems are what create
freedom and quality of life.
Systems are what unshackle you from the
daily running of your business.

David Long
_____________
I have a good friend, David Long, who is
the CEO of Specialty Engraving, one of the
largest providers of employee recognition
programs in the country.
David, with his wife Janet, pack up the
massive RV, hitch up their Harleys and
travel for several months Every summer,
while his business continues to grow.
Why?
Because David has mastered the art and
science of creating SYSTEMS.
(BTW, me and David took our Harleys for a
ride over the Galveston bridge on a super
windy day. Scared the crap out of me!)
If you guys want to buy a great interview
on outsourcing from a veteran outsourcer,
